WELCOME
BIKE TEST AACHEN was founded in Aachen in 1988 by Werner Kistemann. Experience in all areas of safety and testing technology was gained during 20 years of collaboration and cooperation with the Institute of Machine Elements (Prof. vd Osten-Sacken) at TU Aachen.
Countless dynamic lifetime tests have been carried out at TU Aachen on behalf of many well-known bicycle manufacturers/importers during this long period of work.
Furthermore, knowledge of the legal situation is also part of the "know-how" of the company BIKE TEST AACHEN.
The motivation of the company BIKE TEST AACHEN is to test safety-relevant components of bicycles and complete bicycles for their safety and thus establish a quality assurance for the consumer and the manufacturer / importer / dealer in accordance with the current state of science and technology – IN LINE SAFETY in the sense of the Equipment and Product Safety Act (GPSG).

Which tests do we offer?
We offer structured and independent bicycle tests based on sound technical analyses and practical tests.
Depending on the project and requirements, we conduct tests with different testing criteria.
If required, stricter criteria such as higher forces or increased load cycles can be applied at the customer's request to specifically analyze properties such as robustness, reliability or safety-relevant aspects.
